I'm not going to lie: when it's come to "looks at The Hulk" in the past from The Avengers, we've basically skipped over them because they are simply artist renderings in promotional posters. With the Super Bowl trailer, we got to see The Hulk more in action, but he was predominately just a big green blue flying through the sky. Now, a photo has surfaced online that actually gives us our first true detailed look at the version of the angry green giant we'll be seeing within the film.
ScreenRant uncovered the photo today, while highlighting some recent photos from the film that have hit the web (click to enlarge):
Now, what's interesting about this version of The Hulk is that it definitely seems to have attributes of both Lou Ferrigno, who voices the beast-like version of the character, and Mark Ruffalo, who will be playing Bruce Banner in the upcoming film. It's certainly an interesting combonation, and will be the fourth live action incarnation of the character we've seen so far, but the details shown above definitely makes this upcoming version look like the most realistic yet.
The Avengers hits theaters on May 4th.
What do you think of the CGI Hulk this time around? A long way from the bulky green anti-hero we saw nine years ago? Let us know either in the comments below, or tweet us @FilmThrasher on Twitter!
