With the teaser trailer for Dreamworks Animation's Rise of the Guardians running for the past few months, the one noticable thing the trailer lacked was the inclusion of Chris Pine's Jack Frost. Though information surfaced on the film and the character just days later, to bring the character to the front of the pack may have been a good idea to begin with. However, it seems the studio is looking to fix that today as the second trailer for the upcoming feature film has been released. Not only does it have much more of a focus on Jack Frost by putting him as the prime character, but it also has plenty of new footage, story details, and even bouts of incredibly life-like animation.
Rise of the Guardians is an epic and magical adventure that tells the story of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and Jack Frost - legendary characters with previously unknown extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch (The Boogeyman) lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children everywhere.
The film is directed by Peter Ramsey and William Joyce, which is adapted from Joyce's The Guardians of Chilhood novel series. Featuring the voices of Pine, Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Isla Fisher and Jude Law, Rise of the Guardians opens on November 21st.
