It's been an interesting off-season for American Horror Story since last December's finale. There was the reveal that each season will head the restart button, making the series an anthology, while details regarding the show's second season have slowly made its way together as we now know that the new story will revolve around an institution for the criminally insane. Though plenty of familiar faces will return, many who missed out the first time are wondering just what made American Horror Story a late-year hit. Now, they'll be able to find out as 20th Century Fox has detailed plans for the Blu-Ray and DVD.
The first season set will finally be hitting store shelves on September 25th, which gives you about two more months until the first part of Ryan Murphy & Brad Falchuk's annual horror tale comes home to own. But for more information, check out the grief press release below (via STYD):

No pricing is yet available for the nearly nine hour long set, but with the release date the first season should give you plenty of time to catch up on the anthological horror series before the sophomore year takes its bow in mid-October.
