THE NEWS BUNDLE: 'Breaking Bad' Villain Latest Star to Join 'American Horror Story: Asylum' Cast

As we enter October, it's clear that Halloween is fast approaching along with plenty of horror-related films and television series/specials for audiences to emerge themselves in. One of the more anticipated premieres to come this month is the sophomore season in the anthological series American Horror Story, which is just coming off of an Emmy win thanks to Jessica Lange.

With Lange now front and center as the main character among a star-studded cast, it's been interesting to see just who else will admit themselves into the asylum setting for the next batch of episodes. Now, one pop-culture-famous television villain will be returning to likely wage war on the supernatural beings ready to peek out of the closet.

Time to start ringing your bells: Breaking Bad actor Mark Margolis has joined American Horror Story: Asylum in a recurring role as Sam Goodwin. There are currently no details on the casting nor on Margolis' character and how he'll fit into the story.

This signals Margolis' first recurring television role since his stint as Hector "Tio" Salamanca on the acclaimed AMC drama, while he has seen parts in previous network dramas Person of Interest, The Good Wife and films Immortals, Gone Baby Gone, Black Swan & The Wrestler in recent years.

Margolis joins newcomers Adam Levine, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, and James Cromwell, along with returning cast members Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Eric Stonestreet and more.

American Horror Story: Asylum premieres Wednesday October 17th at 10PM on FX.
