THE NEWS BUNDLE: Celebrate James Bond Day with a Big Train Scene in the First Clip from 'Skyfall'

It's officially October 5th nearly everywhere worldwide and what that means is 50 years ago today, the cinematic icon and spy legend known as James Bond made his way into theaters. While the U.K. celebrated just after midnight with the release of Adele's new theme song for the next Bond thriller Skyfall, it seems MGM and Sony want to continue the celebration. So today, they have released a brief look into the film with the first clip from Skyfall that extends one of the most talked about scenes from the theatrical trailer: Bond's train dive.

When Bond’s (Daniel Craig) latest assignment goes gravely wrong and agents around the world are exposed, MI6 is attacked forcing M (Judi Dench) to relocate the agency. These events cause her authority and position to be challenged by Gareth Mallory (Ralph Fiennes), the new Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee. With MI6 now compromised from both inside and out, M is left with one ally she can trust: Bond. 007 takes to the shadows – aided only by field agent, Eve (Naomie Harris) – following a trail to the mysterious Silva (Javier Bardem), whose lethal and hidden motives have yet to reveal themselves.

Skyfall hits the U.K. on October 26th, while the latest Bond adventure will make its way to the States on November 9th.
