THE NEWS BUNDLE: 'Revenge' Taps 'Guiding Light' Actor To Play Nolan's Mystery Man in Season 2

As the Hamptons finally seem to be getting back to normal after three long episodes of Revenge, it's certainly the new characters that have come into play that could still go either way at this point while adding a decent number of problems into Emily's revengenda. While Aiden obviously seems to be taking Nolan's place in terms of worthwhile sidekick that can certainly deliver sly moves like Ms. Thorne, it's exactly where Nolan will end up with a renewed focus on his company that also has some interesting twists as well.

Now it seems our resident tech genius will find an old fact from his past blowing back into town and possibly throwing a wrench into any relationship with co-worker Padma.

TV Line reports that Guiding Light actor E.J. Bonilla has been cast as a man with past connections to Nolan. Slim details surround the casting so far and it's unclear exactly where he may wind up in terms of Mr. Ross' good graces, but the site speculates that given Nolan's flexible sexuality he could be an ex-boyfriend.

If that is indeed the case, it seems perhaps there isn't a match made in heaven after all for Nolan and Padma, who he recently handpicked to be his CFO and was certainly more than questionable about his relationship with Emily in last week's episode. Bonilla's role is potentially recurring and who knows...maybe he has a hand to play in the Labor Day sinking of The Amanda that we briefly flashed forward to in the season premiere.

Bonilla joins fellow guests such as Barry Sloane, Dilshad Vadsaria, JR Bourne (Teen Wolf), and Adrienne Barbeau (playing the mother of Victoria!). The actor has had previous roles in The Big C and Blue Bloods while his part on Guiding Light lasted over two years.

Revenge airs every Sunday at 9PM on ABC.
