THE NEWS BUNDLE: Set Photos Reveal Someone's Going To Be Driving A Tank In 'Fast Six'

After twelve years, The Fast and the Furious franchise will be marking six theatrical installments next summer with Fast Six with plenty of details kept under wraps as production rolls along in Europe. Though we know most of the cast from the fifth film will be returning, no gigantic action sequences have been spotted just yet. While it may be hard to top the train-robbery heist scene from the last film or even the high octane race through the city filled with guns galore, it seems that despite all of the cars ever pushed into high gear they have nothing on the latest vehicle to be driven in the series: a tank.

Yep our motley crew of anti-heroes. who are closely being followed by Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and his own gang of law enforcers, may just have the opportunity to gain the upper hand as the latest set photos from Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris reveal that a tank is on set ready to stir up some major trouble (click on the photos for a larger look):

No word on what the tank will be used for or even who will be behind the wheel, but the studio has confirmed that the film is currently shooting in the Canary Islands.

Starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Johnson, Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Luke Evans, Gina Carano and more, Fast Six is scheduled to hit theaters on May 24th, 2013.
