THE NEWS BUNDLE: 'The Fairly Oddparents' Go Live-Action Again with Drake Bell in 'A Fairly Odd Christmas', Trailer and Premiere Date Revealed

Last summer, Nickelodeon made a pretty bold choice in celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Fairly Oddparents by deciding to actually pick up in real time in a live action installment featuring Drake Bell, Daniella Monet and the fairy voice cast for the television movie Grow Up Timmy Turner. Since then, the series has continued to bring new animated outings with even more to come in 2013 but for the holidays they've decided to do something a little different.

With Spongebob Squarepants going stop motion animated for an all-new Christmas special, it seems Nickelodeon wants to embrace a new look for their classic characters as we get ready to ring in the new year. So once more, The Fairly Oddparents are going live-action as it's been revealed today that just after Thanksgiving we can expect a holiday sequel A Fairly Odd Christmas, and you can catch the trailer for the film right after the jump!

Via TV Guide:

"The movie follows the latest adventures of Timmy Turner (Drake Bell) and his childhood friend Tootie (Daniella Monet), who travel around the world granting kids' wishes. But when his good intentions actually result in kids' wishes disappearing from Santa's "good" list, Timmy must find a way to restore order and the children's faith in Santa Claus before ruining Christmas forever."

A Fairly Odd Christmas premieres November 30th at 8PM only on Nickelodeon.
