THE NEWS BUNDLE: Thieves Turn Into Cops in First Trailer of 'Fast and Furious 6' from Super Bowl XLVII

Though many of the film ads seen in today's Super Bowl XLVII we've already had a peek of, the biggest debut of the bunch happens to be Fast & Furious 6. Our first glimpse of footage from the upcoming sequel, the latest installment seeks to reinvent the franchise once more after the last sequel turned the action-packed racing features into a well-received heist film. Now, we find our anti-heroes in new territory once more as they head into Europe while former enemy Luke Hobbs turns to our gang for help. Now, get ready for your jaw to drop in the first TV spot for the upcoming film after the jump before this Tuesday's full-length trailer.

Since Dom and Brian’s Rio heist toppled a kingpin’s empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.

Meanwhile, Special Agent Hobbs has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Luke Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty. The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.

Starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Gina Carano and more, Fast and Furious 6 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 24th.
