FTTV Reviews...The Vampire Diaries 3.16 "1912"

Episode "1912" answers lots of questions for Vampire Diaries fans, especially as we finally learn who the Mystic Falls serial killer is. I had the privilege to watch this episode one week in advance at the Paley Festival and promised not talk about the episode until it finally aired. That was probably one of the hardest things to do since this was such a big episode ending with a huge cliffhanger.

FTTV Reviews...The Vampire Diaries 3.14 "Dangerous Liasons"

"Dangerous Liaisons" was one of my favorite episodes this season. For the first time, we saw the whole Original family working together in the present. It was really interesting watching all of these characters, who have been daggered for so many years, try to forgive and trust one another. This episode showed a new side of Klaus which was probably my favorite thing to see. I loved seeing the softer and human side of the character that proved no matter what, everyone has a weakness.

FTTV Reviews...The Vampire Diaries 3.10 "The New Deal"

The Vampire Diaries' mid season premiere started with big changes and huge cliffhangers as always. "The New Deal" was a big game changer for the show and for many characters and relationships. But, in a season so devoted to Klaus and the characters' war against the hybrid, did 2012 bring a big change into that dynamic, or was it simply more of the same?

Happy New Year from Film Thrasher! - A Year In Review, What We'll Be Looking to Do, and A Little Personal Reflection

Exactly one year ago, I was a single writer, managing Film Thrasher out of a small college dorm room, unsure of what 2011 would bring, with only a small handful of readers, doing news pieces once every other day, only reviewing Smallville, Chuck, Supernatural, and Glee. The year ahead was going to either make or break the site that I had struggled to casually balance out my life with over the course of the past seven months, and I really didn't know what was going to happen. Now, I sit here one year later, proclaiming that 2011 was one of the best years of my life. But, what will 2012 bring? Well...we have a few plans in mind.

Film Thrasher's Year In Review 2011 - Movies

We continue our end of the year coverage by now covering the Best of 2011 in film. There have been plenty of successes and surprises this past year, but which were our absolute favorites, and which ones should you see or leave in the garbage? We've assembled the entire staff here at Film Thrasher once more to ask what they though were the best, worst, and what they were looking forward to most in 2012.

Film Thrasher's Year In Review 2011 - Television

As the holidays are right upon us, the entire staff here at Film Thrasher is ready to look back at the year in entertainment. We start off part one of our two part series with Television. After a long year, and everything now on winter hiatus, we couldn't help but look back and think what was the best, what was the worst, and what truly made us glued to our sets.

FTTV Reviews...The Vampire Diaries 3.09 "Homecoming"

The mid season finale of The Vampire Diaries was full of twists and cliffhangers that left us thinking what will happen when the show returns on 01/05/2012. What shocking surprises did they have, and did all of them necessarily pay off?

FTTV Reviews...The Vampire Diaries 3.08 "Ordinary People"

"Ordinary People" has to be my favorite flashback episode the series has given us yet. We not only learned how vampires were made from the beginning, but discovered all the drama between the original family. But, was it the best episode of the season?

FTTV Reviews...The Vampire Diaries 3.06 "Smells Like Teen Spirit

Now that everyone is back in good ol' Mystic Falls, including a drunk-on-Klaus Stefan, it's time for the inevitable: going back to school. Yes, it's time for the characters to tackle senior year head on. But, with everything that happened during the summer, the annual bonfire coming up, Rebecca sticking around, and a war of ghosts brewing, was it a fantastic start to the final year of high school?

FTTV Reviews...The Vampire Diaries 3.05 "The Reckoning"

Episode Five, "The Reckoning", had to be one of the biggest episodes to come. I think this episode changed so many characters and where season 3 is headed. We are only on the fifth episode but this could have just been the season finale with all the twists and turns.

FTTV Reviews...The Vampire Diaries 3.04 '"Disturbing Behavior"

The streets of Chicago are roaming with vampires once more as Katherine now factors into the big picture of Season 3. With Elena heartbroken that Stefan told her to leave, she is careful to admit her feelings for Damon, and her brother is also dealing with his ghost problem head on, with the help of his returning girlfriend Bonnie. But, was the characters sticking around in Chicago a smart move, or a dull one?

FTTV Reviews...The Vampire Diaries 3.03 "The End of the Affair"

After a great second week, The Vampire Diaries is back with a flashback-filled episode set in Chicago. As Stefan learns more about his past, a shock revelation is revealed, another ally joins Klaus' cause, and right underneath their noses are Elena & Damon. Meanwhile, after a surprising reveal last week, what will happen to Caroline? Furthermore, is the

FTTV Reviews...The Vampire Diaries 3.02 "The Hybrid"

Last week, TVD has a stellar season premiere that didn't reveal too much in terms of an overall arc. Elena and Damon are still in search of Stefan, and Klaus is looking to start a pack of Hybrids. This week, the action takes place deep in the Rocky Mountains as Klaus puts his plan in motion. But, why does it fail? And, was the second episode of the season better than the premiere?

2011 Emmy Award Winners (With Prediction Results)

(Ed. Note: We know this is a few days too late, but we were just waiting on final thoughts from the other writers to finalize the article. Please enjoy!)

The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards are now at a close. Earlier this weekend, all of our writers provided picks among who would win among 17 categories (and unfortunately only 16 were televised...). It was a night of surprises, and dream wins for some, definitely some shocking winners. But, who won our Emmy prediction race, and what did all three of us think of last night's awards show?

FTTV Reviews...The Vampire Diaries 3.01 "The Birthday"

*LIKE ALL REVIEWS, SPOILERS BELOW. READ AT YOUR OWN CAUTION.*

Months after a cliffhanger-filled finale, The Vampire Diaries finally returned to television with the Season 3 premiere on Thursday. Titled "The Birthday", we pick up with the entire supernatural crew of Mystic Falls after a long summer. What has changed with our favorite characters? And, after a long wait, did the season premiere live up to all it promised?

FTTV: Reaction to 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 3 Preview

(Ed. Note: For the preview discussed in this article, click here.)

After 2 longs months we finally got to see The Vampire Diaries Season 3 preview clip. No words can explain how excited I am for the new season! After watching the preview over 50 times, I think I have season 3 all figured out. Back in July, Ian Somerhalder mentioned during the Comic Con panel that Season 3 will be like watching a new show, a new chapter will open for all the characters, and that's exactly what this new teaser seems to do.

THE NEWS BUNDLE: First Real Footage of 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 3 Released

SDCC: Final Gallery of Pictures from Naira; 'Chuck', 'Family Guy', and More!

As our San Diego Comic-Con coverage comes to a close, we have a final set of pictures from Naira to post. The one above, of Chuck's Ryan McPartlin, is by far my absolute favorite. Other pictures in the final set include statues, zombies, costumes, Seth McFarlane, the Family Guy panel, Kate Beckinsale, and just tons more.

The pictures are after the page break, and with this we conclude our coverage of all the news, trailers, and more coming out of San Diego. It has been one hell of a whirlwind keeping up with everything, and I can't thank my writers enough for keeping up with everything. Hopefully next year, I'll be covering the event live from the show floor. Until then, goodbye San Diego!
