THE NEWS BUNDLE: MTV Looking To Adapt 'Scream' For The Small Screen in TV Series Adaptation


For under two decades know, Wes Craven's Scream franchise has poked fun at the horror genre while slashing up its own set of rules and body count. While there's still no word on a Scream 5, the pop culture phenomenon didn't exactly have the same kick the last time around, making a fifth installment questionable if anything. While we have no clue just when we'll see the series again, it seems MTV wants to make a mark as they are now in early development on a possible Scream TV series.

Now that the MTV Movie Awards have ended, it seems summer is ready to showcase what it has left with the big blockbusters of the year getting a few moments to shine in the spotlight. One of the biggest presentations happened to be all-new footage from The Dark Knight Rises introduced by Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, and the director himself Christopher Nolan. Following an emotional moment from Bale over Heath Ledger, not only did we receive a jaw dropping new look at the film, but an all-new TV spot for the sequel followed as well. E3 2012: Nintendo Unveils New Wii U Controllers, 'Miiverse' Software To Connect Your Devices & Friends


E3 is just mere hours away from officially beginning, and the amount of unknown surprises and circumstances awaiting the gaming community is certainly raising plenty of tension and excitement. The most unknown of the major three consoles comes from Nintendo, who will be showing off their all-new Wii U in full detail, along with the launch line-up, what more the console has to offer, and plenty of unclear announcements. Today, in a pre-E3 press conference briefing, not only can we expect a brand new controller to come with the Wii U but some very interesting functionalities and possibly a new Super Mario Brothers.
