THE NEWS BUNDLE: Fifteen New Images from 'Les Miserables'; Trailer Set For This Week


With Les Miserables wrapping up filming, the drama musical extraordinaire is ready to hit theaters later this year. Plenty of promise has only brought the film so far, as a trailer has yet to hit for the film giving us our first truly official look. Now, not only do we know when the trailer for the highly anticipated movie will hit, but Working Title has also released a number of new photos in preparation.

THE NEWS BUNDLE: CBS Finally Releases The Full Upfront Trailers for Their 4 New Fall Series


With the upfronts still behind us, CBS and The CW have some catching up to do still as they have yet to release the full trailers for either of their series. With plenty of promise for both networks, CBS treated us to some footage of their shows intercut with interviews featuring the casts. Now, they're giving us the full treatment as the four new shows that will be included in the fall lineup have been given their full upfront trailers to the public. THE NEWS BUNDLE: First Full Trailers for The CW's 'Arrow', 'Cult', & 'The Carrie Diaries' Make Their Way Online


With upfronts week now officially over, most were bummed to see that The CW and CBS never released full trailers. CBS, however, had more in its corner by revealing behind the scenes interviews that helped to really showcase more of the series along with clips from the new shows as well. The CW, on the other hand, simply showed off clips without any real emphasis on what to expect. Now, three trailers have made their way online, giving us more of the most buzzed series from yesterday's presentation, and two first looks at the mid-season series' who were negelected from previews.

With the upfront presentation wrapping up, today was ABC's turn to showcase what they have in store for viewers in the next year. After three returning series have moved to different times, it's interesting to see just what will be in their places. THE NEWS BUNDLE: 'The Hobbit' Trailer to Premiere with 'Tintin'


Let's just say it right now: we told you so. After much speculation, it was rumored that both The Hobbit teaser trailer and The Dark Knight Rises full length trailer would be attached to Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. However, a new report reveals that is not the case.

We has posted just last week that The Hobbit's teaser trailer was looking to be released, as actor Andy Serkis revealed, but as to when was a complete mystery. Well, rumors are going crazy all over the internet that the film the trailer may be attached to will be Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Furthermore, it seems an all new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises will be coming with the same film as well.

THE NEWS BUNDLE: Trailer and Clip for Sean Hackett's 'Homecoming' Starring Brea Grant


Being on Twitter, and following actress Brea Grant, I've heard a lot about the film Homecoming by Sean Hackett, in which Grant is the lead. The indie film is Hackett's directorial debut, of which he also stars and wrote, and has been playing at multiple festivals year-long, where it has earned prizes as well.

Dealing with a soldier's (Grant) return to her hometown while she's on leave, the trailer debuted on Slashfilm this morning, which you can catch along with a clip from the film all after the jump.

THE NEWS BUNDLE: First Look at Kiefer Sutherland in Fox's New Drama 'Touch'


A year after 24 has been off the air, Kiefer Sutherland is returning to television this mid-season in a compelling new drama. Titled Touch, the drama has an interesting concept that any happening isn't by chance or coincidence, but can be predicted. Fox has released the first trailer for the upcoming series today onto the internet, and you can see it in HD right after the jump.

THE NEWS BUNDLE: 'The Avengers' Trailer Arrives Online on Tuesday


Marvel Studios has announced today that the trailer for The Avengers, the one showcased at the D23 expo about two months ago, will be released to the public and online on Tuesday, October 11th.

With NY Comic Con this weekend, there's a chance there could be a screening of the trailer there as well. However, signs currently don't point to it, so it's best to rely on the Tuesday release date more.

We'll have the trailer, when it's available, on Tuesday right here on Film Thrasher.

The Avengers will be released May 4th, 2012.

I've said time and time again how I'm a fan of the Paranormal Activity films. It was the second film we ever reviewed on Film Thrasher, and while I didn't get a chance to see the second one in theaters, the third one I shall have no problem with. The other day we posted three viral clips from the film sent out to various sites, and now Paramount has released the latest trailer for PA3. And it. looks. thrilling.

THE NEWS BUNDLE: New Trailer & Poster for 'New Year's Eve'


In the holiday slate of movies coming up, none are quite as star studded as New Year's Eve, the spirtual sequel to Valentine's Day from a couple years back. We've had the first trailer before, and today an all new, full-length trailer is available, as well as the poster, which appears a lot like its successor. THE NEWS BUNDLE: Poster for Steven Spielberg's 'War Horse'


Getting a good amount of buzz, and poised in the prime of Oscar season, is Steven Spielberg's upcoming film War Horse. At first, I thought the hype couldn't live up to what this film possibly could be. Then, there was the beautiful trailer that absolutely took my breath away, which you can see below. War Horse is becoming an anticipatory title for myself, and today a new poster was released for the film, which you can see after the jump.

THE NEWS BUNDLE: Trailer for Season Five of 'Chuck'


The final season of Chuck begins in less than a month, and today NBC has revealed the first full trailer for the fifth season. Last time we left our spies, Chuck was stripped of the intersect, and the trio set out to open their own spy business. That is, until Morgan accidentally slipped on a pair of sunglasses, transferring the intersect into his mind. Now, get your first look at the season premiere, including Mark Hamill as the episode's villain, after the jump.

THE NEWS BUNDLE: Trailer for 'Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey'


One of the biggest success stories out of Sundance this past year was the documentary Being Elmo, an insider's look behind the fuzz at the puppeteer who voices toddlers' favorite little friend. The film is only slowly making rounds, and is due in a limited engagement for theaters next month, so it may be awhile until the film actually comes home for you viewing pleasure. 

But, a new trailer was released for the film today, which provides a more touching look into the story of Kevin Clash. You can see the trailer in full after the jump.

THE NEWS BUNDLE: New Trailer for 'The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo'


It's been some time since the teaser trailer for David Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo was released onto the internet and into theaters. With the release date fastly approaching this Christmas, a new trailer has been posted overnight, and it is damned impressive. Nearly four minutes in length, the trailer gets to the meat of the story, shows the characters interacting, and essentially points out a mystery thriller that is sure to captivate audiences. With fantastic music by Trent Reznor that mixes with Fincher's film incredibly, you have a nominee for trailer of the year.

THE NEWS BUNDLE: Red Band Trailer for 'Goon'


While the first trailer for Goon basically had the job of informing everyone about the story, the Red Band trailer, released today, brings out all the f-bombs and lets the film have a little vulgar fun. Starring Seann William Scott, the film is about Doug (Scott), a man going nowhere until he's discovered by a hockey coach for his ability to hit. This puts Doug on the ice as a player who does just that: knock people out.

Usually, when Clint Eastwood comes along, he creates a film that is sure to be an Oscar-worthy contender. There is no exception to that rule with his latest film J. A dramatic and political thriller that looks phenomenal.

THE NEWS BUNDLE: New Red Band Trailer for 'The Thing'


With Halloween fast approaching, we are weeks away from the month of all horror movies. One of those movies happens to be the prequel/reboot of 'The Thing'. The film, starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton, will be released on October 14th, but Universal Pictures has released a new red band trailer for the film, which you can see after the jump.
